Old School in Vrahassi to be Restored by Belgium Archaeologist

Great news, the various Councils involved have given the go ahead for the renovation of the old school in Vrahassi. For a full report in Greek please see: http://vrachassi.blogspot.com
This is very good news for the village. The building will eventually become a store house for archaeological finds from the Minoan site on Anavlochos, as well as a place to exhibit photographs. The project is the brainchild of Prof Jan Driessen, the chief archaeologist for the Belgium School, who in recent years have been excavating a site in Sissi, known as the Sarpedon Project. With Mr Michaelis Petselakis at the helm, Vrahassi is going places.

It's very exciting!
