INTERESTING ICONS IN VRAHASSI

This little church is the church of St Savas (Agios Savas). It is situated in the forecourt of the big church of Agia Sofia Pnevmatos. I was lucky enough to find it open when I passed by and took these pictures of the inside with its many interesting icons. St Savas apparently saw the face of Jesus in his wine goblet. I'm just repeating the story I was told!

Another wonderful sight was this pomegranate tree heavily laden with wonderful ripe fruit.
