Jane's Vrahassi

Vrahassi, Crete,Creta or Kriti, Greece, the village that has adopted us. 'Two brits off to see the world' we discovered Vrahassi in 1994 and knew that it was where we wanted to be. So, from the outer limits of Europe, I am writing this blog so that anyone out there can get an idea of what life is like (for Jane and David) half way up a mountain on the sunny island of Crete.

There is a little bit of crazy in everyone! And I'm no exception. I have been married to David for 39 years, and George (Little Legs) is my partner in business. He thinks that David should have strangled me a long time ago. They both put up with me,(then again, I put up with them). Together we are a team.Our home is Vrahassi and our neighbours are our extended family. There are eagles above us, mountains around us and the aquamarine Aegean to bathe in. When I am not working I am writing, playing the piano, singing, or keeping company with my mates in the cafeneo. "Yamas!"
