As I write the 'water men' are busy digging up the road and connecting my new bar to the mains. It will be all systems go just as soon as water is flowing from the tap. Unfortunately we may have to switch it off because we need a new tank on the roof (or at least a 'floater' according to George). So, at least we are one step nearer.
It is a 'water day' because David is also fitting a bath into our house ready for the new people who will arrive in a couple of weeks'.

He thinks that David should have strangled me a long time ago. They both put up with me,(then again, I put up with them).
